Andres' PERU

I come from Peru which is in the centre of South America.
The population is slightly over 28 million; our capital city is Lima and there are over 8 million people there.
Our language official is Spanish but some cities speak 2 languages: Spanish and Quechua (the language of the Incas) eg Cuzco, Puno.
The weather depends on where you live, but generally it's hot all year round especially in the north of Peru. The south of Peru is usually very cold in Winter.
The traditional music is the Huayno but it's only popular in some cities- generally in the high cities eg. Cuzco, Puno, Apurimac.
Most Peruvian people like to listen and dance to Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton, and
Electronic music.
The most popular sport in Peru is soccer. We love this sport and always go to stadiums on the weekend.
Peru has many, many beautiful places to visit; Macchu Picchu is the place preferred by tourists and is really spectacular and beautiful.
People love to eat seafood; especially Ceviche, (fish, lemon, lettuce, onion, etc) which is really delicious.
